I became a Parent Governor in early 2021, and having served my 4 years am now co-opted onto the Governing Board.  I am chair of the Curriculum & Standards Committee, a member of the Finance & Buildings Committee and am lead in relation to the Federations ‘Eco Focus’.  My youngest son is currently in Year 5; my eldest has just started high school having been at Gorsley from Reception through to Year 6.  Between 2018 and 2024 I volunteered at the school, including assisting with the Gardening After School Club, Forest School, and as a member of the PTFA, including a spell as chair. 

I am the managing director of an ecological consultancy business I set up over 25 years ago.  I have run educational courses and activities (in a professional and a voluntary capacity) for over 27 years (from cub scouts to architects) and am passionate about science, the environment and sustainability.  I am pleased to assist with the smooth running of the school and the development of the children.
