Extra-Curricular School Activites and Clubs

The school runs a number of clubs wither during the lunch hour or immediately after school.  The range of clubs on offer varies from term to term, and may include art/craft, football, netball, rugby, hockey, choir, recorders, French and science.

Curriculum related trips are a feature on the timetable.  Caerleon, Gloucester Docks, Raglan Castle, Techniquest are merely a few of the day visits that the children have experienced.

Residential visits are a key element in a child's education, teaching the independence, responsibility and cooperation in a new exciting environment.   Year4 pupils experience a one or two day, one night 'sleep over' in a nearby location such as the Viney Hill Activity Centre.   In Year 5 children have a two night stay at an outward bound activity centre.  In Year 6 they have a slightly longer four night visit to London, which involves many exciting activities.
