Simon Manning, Headteacher Governor, 1st September 2023 to present

As Executive Headteacher of the Gateway Federation I am automatically elected as a Governor. I have been working in education for over 23 years and I still enjoy it very much.   I have taught children from Reception through to Year 6 in a large three form entry infant school, larger primaries and village schools. Before joining The Gateway Federation I was Headteacher of a local primary which also had a specialist centre for children with autism.   The experience of leading, raising the standards and overcoming challenges has been invaluable.  I am passionate about children's education and welfare and I make this my priority.
